This is strictly a visual experimentation as I just added new all white aftermarket replacement plastics from MAIER USA to match my white Clarke 2.7-gallon fuel tank. This 2016 Yamaha TW200 was previously caught between colors! The 2016 Yamaha TW200 comes with a blue tank, blue front fender and blue headlight shell. But it comes with white rear fender and white side panels. It looks fairly balanced with this combo, but as soon as I switched to the Clarke 2.7-gallon tank in white, the balance was skewed.
I had a “color crisis” on my hands if you will… a color identity crisis between the factory blue and factory white with the addition of MORE white with the larger-than-stock Clarke tank. So visually more white than just a factory white tank, so the balance was thrown off and then some! The bike just needed to go all the way! WHITE – BLACK – SILVER!
You know this won’t last long… it’s just screaming “blank white canvas!”
Time to call Seriously Stickers / Mattox Designs and GO CRAZY!
