“THE TDUB IS A TERRIFIC BIKE!”
“If you are looking for a first bike, man or woman, go with the TW200!”
For me personally, I am feeling as though the TDUB is also the perfect “last bike!” But aside from my personal opinion about the Yamaha TW200 (See more about that at the bottom of this post), I simply love these videos from Mr. Van “The Spirited Man” Neistat as his delivery is dry, yet humorous with a relaxed simplicity. His perspective on “life” is truly that of “turning 40-something” when your thought process starts to change into the next chapter! But too, Mr. Neistat is of the creative nature of which I very much identify with!
When I first came across Van’s “The Reality of Owning A Vintage Truck” of which I posted onto the Red Line Land Cruisers Blog: https://redlinelandcruisers.com/owning-a-land-cruiser/, It actually took me a little while to post that video to the page due to the fact, when I find something that really intrigues me, I go all the way back! All the way “Back” to the bottom of his YouTube page, to the very first video posted. I want to see and know how “it” all started and how long ago it started. But too, I open a new tab and click to the “about” and see who this cat is! And if I am really interested, copy paste “name” into Google and read further! Of which I did… Yes, I tend to go down those “rabbit holes” of wanting to know more.

Van Neistat is known for the Documentary / Drama A Space Program (2015) where the artist Tom Sachs and his team of bricoleurs build a handmade space program and send two female astronauts to Mars. Van Neistat is a pioneer in digital filmmaking, making his first internet video, The Holland Tunnel, in 2000. He went on to collaborate with New York City artist Tom Sachs, directing a series of short films shown at the Guggenheim Museum in Berlin. Van has since directed dozens more films for the Tom Sachs Studio. In 2010 HBO aired The Neistat Brothers, an 8-episode series of short videos made entirely by Van and his brother Casey Neistat. Van Neistat’s directorial debut feature, A SPACE PROGRAM, co-written by Tom Sachs, premiered at the 2015 South by Southwest Film Festival and opened in theaters nation-wide in spring, 2016. In 2018 Neistat Directed the short film Paradox Bullets, co-written with Tom Sachs, narrated by Werner Herzog, and starring Ed Rushca. Neistat has written and directed commercial projects for Nike, Hurley, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, J. Crew, Twitter, Sleepy Jones and Frances Valentine. His work has been exhibited in museums throughout the world. He lives in Topanga, California.
